Io Ha Bronchitis

So... I have bronchitis.  I went home for Thanksgiving, and this is what my family gave me.

I actually normally get bronchitis around this time of year.  It's nothing new, and I've still been attending some of my classes despite of it.  But I've stopped writing my novel.  It's been four days now.  No, scratch that, five.  You see, when I finished NaNoWriMo a day early, and I was sick, I told myself I would take a break.  Then I was feeling even more sick.  Then I was back at school.

No writing has been accomplished this week.  The guilt is finally starting to set in, so I think I'll get back at it tomorrow... somewhere between writing my Film History essay and my newest addiction.  DuoLingo.

Like seriously, it's the bestest thing.  It's an app you can get for iPhone, free.  If you keep at it, every day, for three months straight, you can learn an entire language.  It's fantastic.  It's like a game, only you're learning.  I've started with Italian, because I'm hoping to get into this summer's Screenwriting in Rome study abroad program.  I'm already at level 5, and I only started yesterday!

So yeah.  I need to get myself back on track.  I need to stop procrastinating, or I'll never get this thing finished.  Honestly, I'm almost done.  I've nearly worked myself up to the climax.  I'm right on the threshold of it.  You'd think I'd be totally pumped.  I'm at a really sweet spot.  But... Italian.  And... Netflix.  Eh.

Io scrive libri.  So that's what I'm going to do.

National Novel Writing Month

Hello everyone.  This year I'll be participating in my fourth year of NaNoWriMo, also known as, National Novel Writing Month.  It's an annual event that goes on every November, challenging writers to finish the first 50,000 words of their novel in 30 days.  I'm super pumped for NaNo this year and the novel I'll be writing.  I've always managed to complete the challenge, but completing the novel is a challenge within itself, and this year noveling is going to be competing with my studies.  Wish me luck, and stay tuned for more noveling info on my "NaNoWriMo" thread.
