It's the end of the year, and I'm afraid it hasn't been a very productive one insofar as filming goes. I've produced three different silent shorts as part of class, but unfortunately was not able to come out with much more.
It's finally time to shoot my first-year film! I'm currently working on the second-draft of the script, Hold Me Tight. It's a romance about a young woman who, upon finding that her roommate is kicking her out of the house for Valentine's Day, tries to find solace in a professional cuddling agency. The original prompt for the script was to write in a genre that I wouldn't normally write in, and in the end, I'm quite pleased with the drafts so far. It's also a very personal project to me, which was something else my professor's encouraged - although the length of the piece definitely is not.
Nonetheless, I fully intend to continue planning to shoot this piece. It should be complete within the next two months, and in the meantime, I'll keep the website updated with news about the film's progress.
